Our historic Georgian farmhouse is surrounded by woodland and open countryside. With its flowering herbaceous borders and obelisks of roses and sweet peas, it is a beautiful romantic setting for an outside ceremony or wedding reception. Ceremonies may also be held in our picturesque oak-beamed barn, which is licensed for civil ceremonies.
A beautiful marquee from Village Farm Marquees, dressed to your specification is also included, with tables, chairs and lighting of your choice.
Our traditional, oak-beamed barn sits alongside the marquee and is perfect for a wedding ceremony and for live music, dancing and celebrating into the night. At the far end of the barn is our fully stocked bar, serving a wide range of drinks, including local beers and wines, and cocktails.
Follow the path beside the decorated floral swing into the woodland and you will find yourself in a clearing, surrounded by twinkling fairy lights and lanterns. Guests can enjoy the glowing fire bowl, toast marshmallows on the embers or relax on the straw bale seating with their friends.

The Cart Shed & Woodland Hut Wedding Accommodation
This former cart shed and stable block has been lovingly restored, using reclaimed and sustainable building materials, to create a beautiful and spacious three bedroomed luxury accommodation. The cottage has been awarded Green Tourism Gold and a Four Star Gold rating from Visit England. This is the perfect pre-wedding preparation area for the bridal party and offers convenient overnight accommodation for friends and relatives for two nights.
Also available is our Woodland Hut, a beautiful shepherd’s hut nestling in peaceful, private woodland. The perfect place to spend your first night as a married couple.
